What are we looking for?
GIA is looking for a Business Development Executive with proven experience in lead
generation and proposal management to join a fast-paced, global team of Multi-media experts.
What will you be doing?
- Lead Generation through various available modes. Primary focus will be on inbound leads, but will also involve outbound pitches to major clients in preferred segments
- Lead Management through maintaining accurate details of all generated leads in the
CRM
- Research on the leads including their sector, communications objectives, budget, and alignment with GIA
- Connect with promising leads and understand their requirements
- Proposal management, sending proposals based on the potential client’s requirements and ensuring post proposal follow-up
- Lead Conversion based on the response to proposals
- Contract follow-up and onboarding of new clients
- Creating briefing documents and scope of work for the delivery team based on the client requirements
- Connect the new client and internal team and be part of all the meetings for a month
- Developing business development strategy, case studies, and templates for proposals
- Competitor analysis of other communications and PR firms to understand pricing structures and packages offered in the market
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives in marketing, business development, and direction. Inform HR on clients likely to sign up in near future so as resource allocation and hiring can be streamlined accordingly
- Support colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the consultancy as and when the need arises
What do we need?
- Proven experience in business development
- Excellent Communicator with an eye for detail
- Experience in using CRM tools
- Experience in writing business proposals
- PR agency experience will be preferred but not mandatory
- A supportive team player able to demonstrate experience of building a collaborative environment
- Capable of multitasking with high attention to detail
- Ability to plan and present highly complex presentations
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any stream
- Strong commitment to professional standards and ethics
You have the requisite experience in:
- Minimum experience of 2-4 years in business development profile
- Working with diverse and distributed teams in a similar environment
- Experience in working with a PR agency is preferred but not mandatory
